Unicorn

 

 

as I wander through the forest

dimmest of light fading away

down to the glen in elemental kingdom

where the magical unicorns stay

 

 

most sacred energy they spread

like the silv’ry dragon long time lost

they’ll defend true love and honour

though peacefully, at whatever cost

 

 

after descending the grassy slopes

as I get to the pond down yonder

the water mirrors a hopeful gaze

am I still in time, I wonder

 

 

then heaven breaks and sky lights up

enchanted melodies sound from afar

the valley lingers in one golden glow

I reach and catch a shooting star
