Spirits in the sky

 

picture a barren valley far away from here

where in a dark desolate place there lived a man

after gold ran scarse all other folks moved on

but he stayed behind, he never ran

 

these days he roams the woods for timber

and strips the wires out of the old mine

every evening on the porch after his hard labour,

he dreams of this maiden so pure and divine

 

he has never seen her face or heard her voice

just caught her vibe one day in crisp air

sent a heartfelt response and with this connection

started their amazing spiritual love affair

 

the next day he started building his tower

as high as no man had ever built before

in history nor future of our planet

a higher tower will be built, evermore

 

so determined to get his message across

before ascending from human to sky dancer
